Antique Primitive Country Farmhouse style Rope Headboard and Footboard 18_0s? Has Pennsylvania Dutch vibe to it. Great hand turned posts and spindles, Maple with very old finish, looks like it might have just been oiled or waxed originally and never touched since. Still has the rope pegs on the head and foot rails, but at some point long ago, the side rails were converted to a more modern steel bracket (you'll probably still want to use steel side rails and a modern mattress anyway. (side rails not included) Pegged mortise and tenon joints.the overall height of the posts is 55" and the overall width is 52", the center slots for the side rails measures 49" between them (for a standard "three quarter" mattress) and you could make it 75" or 80" long depending on the side rails you use. Offers considered, local pickup but will work with buyer's shipper (buyer pays all shipping costs)
