NOLAN ARENADO 3B CAREER HIT #355 + DICKERSON 1B GAME-USED BASEBALL ROCKIES 2015 - $1,000 - (San Francisco, CA)
For sale is a truly unique collectible from Colorado Rockies slugging third baseman, Nolan Arenado! This specific ball was struck by Arenado in the bottom of the 8th inning of the game played versus the Cincinnati Reds on July 24, 2015. Officially, the extra-base hit marks Nado's 355th career hit and only the 10th triple of his career. 2015 proved to be Nolan's 'breakout campaign' as he was voted into his first All Star game while also earning his 3rd Gold Glove and 1st Silver Slugger award! In 2015, Arenado finished with 42 homers, 130 RBI, 97 runs with a .287 average and an impressive .898 OPS. The same baseball also features Corey Dickerson's 227th career hit (1B) off pitcher J.J. Hoover. Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the team. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play. Authentications can be verified through the MLB.com site. This ball carries the hologram HZ 890042. I have attached a screen shot for your review of the MLB authentication serial number search result. This is a great, 1-of-a-kind item!
