6 Vintage Coalport Hong Hong Pattern Bone China Dinner Plates, Apparently Unused - $539 - (Bloomington, IN)

This is a set of six (6) Hong Kong pattern large bone china dinner plates by the famed firm of Coalport in England in amazing condition. What’s amazing about the condition is that as a vintage pattern introduced in 1970, there is no hint of use whatsoever. The plates are simply perfect, with the mirror-like glaze finish in pristine condition. These are new backstamp plates, featuring mauve flowers and cobalt blue. The Hong Kong pattern 7708 was discontinued almost 25 years ago, in 1993. The pattern, although named for a Chinese city, has the distinct flavor of the Japanese Imari style. The pattern is a classic, to be treasured now and for decades to come. The plates are made of the highest quality English bone china. Simply superb! Dimensions: 10 3/8” diameter Weight: 8 lbs 11 oz.
