This model 1k light is still in production today and is sold by Mole Richardson and B&H, however, the light being offered here is the 1st ever produced and shows the one of a kind rare #1 Mole Richardson serial number. This is a true collectable that will only appreciate because finding #1 production number by the legendary maker Mole Richardson is virtually impossible. The light was gently used in studio production and is in great completely original condition. This means it was never restored, never repainted, nothing added or taken away, and is in great authentic condition! The only minor issue is the light has a very small indentation (see pictures #3) which is barely noticeable especially with the barndoors in place. Overall, the lighting instrument is in amazing condition. B&H cost of this Baby Fresnel model 1k light was listed over $1,800.
