J.H. Bunnell & Co.'s No. 4 D.D. Home Medical Apparatus, no instruction book - $109 - (Waterford, CT)
J.H. Bunnell & Co.'s No. 4 D.D. Home Medical Apparatus with standard dry cell battery in a wooden box with metal latches. No instructions. There are two compartments: the top contains two 4–foot conducting cords with tips, two tube hand electrodes, and two insulating handles. The bottom compartment contains three holes to place the conducting cords in to obtain different currents of electricity. The dry cell battery is also stored in the bottom. I think this is missing. The Home Medical Apparatus was used by physicians in their offices and when they traveled to patients' homes during the late 19th and early 20th century. It was a medical battery for the treatment of a wide variety of diseases. I believe most everything is in the box. Not sure about the battery. See photos for everything included. Buying as is.
