Desk Wood Oak Office Typewriter Tray Letterhead Paper Divider Vintage - $199 - (Ludington, MI)

A wonderful large and very heavy oak desk measuring 60" wide and 34" deep. While not sure of the exact age, this came from the estate of Sonnie Cooper of Ludington, MI, who may be remembered as the owner of Sonnie's Dry Cleaning during the 1950s through the 1970s. The left side drawer panel opens to reveal a lift-out style typewriter tray that still functions perfectly. The center drawer is equipped with a pencil holder, while the right side has a pull-out writing board and the uppermost of the three drawers includes adjustable dividers to hold letterhead and paper. The back is finished so this desk doesn't necessarily need to be placed against a wall. Sorry, no key for the locking center drawer. Quality dovetail construction - these desks were built to last! And is very heavy at about 125 lbs. The top can be separated from the bottom portion for ease of moving. The desk has the usual scuffing and scratch from age and use.
