Antique American Federal Mahogany Secretary Bookcase Circa 1800 An American federal period mahogany secretary bookcase, mid Atlantic states, circa 1800. The base features fine inlay and crotch mahogany veneers with a "butlers" style drop down and pull out desk with fitted interior. All over three drawers ending in flared French feet.  The top has a glazed bookcase with two interior shelves and a molded cornice.   The piece is all original and in good condition overall.  The finish has checkered and there are some problems with the veneer along the front edge.
