Antique Berkey and Gay Dining Set with Eight Chairs - $2,295 - (Sharpsburg, MD)

Up for auction is an amazing antique Berkey & Gay Dining Room Suite consisting of oblong double pedestal table. Three 10.5" leafs are included along with the original leaf holder. When fully extended, with all leafs, its full length is 95.5".I believe the set is walnut wood with a mahogany/walnut stain.The table has two arm chairs and six side chairs. The seats have been recently reupholstered in a neutral tan fabric .The large sideboard measures 68" long, bows out to 22.25" wide, is 36.75" tall, and has a serpentine top. There are two large doors for extra storage on each side. Two drawers are in the middle, the top drawer has the original cutlery section with the original (corduroy/velvet) insets. The set has the original finish and is in great shape for its age. We have used it for Sunday and special dinners for many years.
