Rare VEB Hodrewa Rosenthal Wood Nutcracker Professor Felt Cap Book Feather Tree - $38 - (Dublin, NH)

Here is a wonderful vintage VEB Hodrewa Rosenthal, Germany, hand painted wood nutcracker. The figure appears to be a professor, with a felt mortarboard and a book tucked under his arm that reads "Amtsakte" which has a colorful tassel. He also has a feather tree stuck in his right hand. He stands approx 10" tall and is in very good condition. A few tiny chips but overall, very nice condition. This probably dates to the 1960s or 70s.
