Item offered is a antique pair of STIEHL Furniture, New York solid Mahogany Federal style drop leaf Pembroke End Tables. Leave down they are nice and compact a good size for smaller areas. With leaves up the are large scalloped topped tables. The each have nice subtle carvings at the top of the legs and they are finished on all 4 sides. They have a nice solid Mahogany wood grain with a deep Mahogany finish. Very attractive antique tables. Both are structurally sound with no chips, cracks, splits, odors or repairs. One leaf on one table is slightly warped at the front edge which is noticeable when they are side by side [see pictures with leaves up] There is some typical signs of use in the finish but not breaks in the finish. There is one nickle size break in the finish on one leaf on one table but has been sealed [see pictures]. The drawers slide smoothly and are dovetailed. The finish is original. The drawer pull is solid brass. These solid Mahogany tables are well crafted.
