RARE Antique 1925 IMPROVED HASNER Treadle Sewing Machine - $799 - (Canton, TX)
Need to part with my RARE estate antique 1925 Improved Hasner treadle sewing machine, possibly manufactured by Davis. Local pickup in Canton, Texas (no shipping).Fully functional, perfect condition, extremely beautiful ornate Egyptian gold motif, fantastic quarter sawn tiger oak, unique rounded ends, six drawers, original thread spools, all attachments, there is a chain that raises and lowers the machine when table is opened/closed and the front panel recesses into the bottom giving leg and knee access to the treadle. Beautifully restored, there are two small veneer chips off the folding top on right hand edge. This machine belongs in a museum!!! See photo of original warranty from 1925, signed by Geller, Ward & Hasner HDW of St.Louis, MO, a large hardware chain during the 1920's and purchased by Shapleigh Hardware in 1937.
