Antique Italian Lustre Vase/Urn, Robbia 19"x 9” ( from handle to handle) - $175 - (Panama City Beach, FL)
What you are bidding on here is a beautiful hand painted lustre vase/urn with colors of gold and cobalt. The handles appear to be mermaids (similar in appearance to those on the bow of old wooden sailing vessels). I would describe its condition as Very Good considering it probably dates back to the early 1900’s. I have not cleaned this urn in any way. I did notice two “spots” as I was photographing it. One is a spot on the underside of handle (nearest the urn) which appears to be a flaw in the glazing. This spot is very smooth and the spot seems to be under the luster glaze. The other spot is a tiny chip on the bottom rim of the base. Please review pictures as they are a part of the description. Buyer pays $20.00 fixed postage rate.
