Pre Columbian, West Mexican, Colima, Choice 2000 year old brown ware vessel, glazed boat shaped ceramic pottery with carved ornamentation on both ends. 438 grams, 7 1/2 inches-end to end, 5 inch width, 2 5/8 inches in height. No repairs, cracks or chips, this artifact is in perfect condition, and is considered choice. Expected weathering with manganese deposits. All photos were shot by the seller utilizing a Canon Digital Camera and an AmScope 3.5 x - 180 x Trinocular Stereo Microscope with the appropriate Barlow Lenses, mounted digital camera and lighting options. Photos 1 thru 6 were shot with the Canon camera, Photos 7 thru 11 were shot with the AmScope. Image's 7 & 8 depict manganese deposits. Image's 9-10 and 11 depict mineral deposits and pigment.
