The door is thick with deep relief carvings and deeply recessed panels. There are 8 panels with the outer panels having a beautifully carved, arched detail. The panels are accented with carved, raised wood cross bars. THERE IS ALSO AN ABUNDANCE OF BRASS EMBELLISHMENTS. The panel faces are metal and scalloped brass trim surrounds the perimeter of each panel. There are raised, large brass "buttons" affixed to the panels and also surrounding the panels. The wooden area surrounding the interior panels is heavily carved with flowers and leaves. Table is mounted on teak legs. Brass trim is on each corner of the table.
