Early 19th Century American Classical carved mahogany games table, c. 1810. Federal style. Serpentine top with reeded edge, acanthus corners, twist-reeded tapered legs, and brass capped feet with original casters. Folds open for game surface and gate leg swings out for support. Open surface measures 37.5" x 37.5" Top could stand to be refinished as part of the finish has worn off in places. About 1/2" of reeded trim missing near one leg, No major damage, scratches or structural problems. I have included a photograph of a listing of a table like this on an antique website to give an idea of value. I have see one other priced at $3,800.
