ITEM DESCRIPTION Vintage 1965 Martin 0-18 Acoustic 6 String Guitar with Case - Natural 8TEN1944 SKU: 5285884315 Vintage 1965 Martin 0-18 Acoustic 6 String Guitar with Case - Natural A beautiful vintage Martin 0-18 from 1965 in very good condition, natural finish with a tortoise shell binding on the body. All original and delivers a melodious sound, very dulcet and plays like butter! The guitar shows minor cosmetic wear, small dings and a few minor indentations. On the top of the guitar there are a few minor lacquer cracks, nothing that is effecting the integrity or playability of the guitar. The neck is straight with nice fast action and the frets have plenty of life left in them. It is a perfect addition to any guitar players collection or for someone chasing that famous vintage "O style" Martin sound. Includes a padded gig bag. Built in Martin's Nazareth, PA workshop, the 0-18 was smaller than the 00-18 and the 000-18, but larger than earlier parlor-style guitars. Like other 18 series Martins, the 0-18 is defined by a MHGNY body (starting in 1917), Spruce top, and minimimal cosmetic flourishes. Also like many classic Martins, the design of the 0-18 changed little from the World War II era until production ended in the mid-'90s.
