3 - 1930's PORCELIER Ceiling Fixtures, Art Deco Styling, Nice Gold Accents, Rewired These Porcelier cream colored ceiling lights dates from the 1930's as is evident from the art deco design in the casting. However, they would also fit a MCM theme. They are off-white in color and are decorated with red, pink, yellow, and blue wild flowers and are accented with gold trim. Each fixture has six ribs that were cast in an art deco design. The gold accents are in very good condition but there are some losses. The 24k accents are applied after the last firing and it is common for them to suffer abrasions and losses, but these three are much better than average. The fixtures have been rewired and are ready to attach to your ceiling. The sale includes all of the correct mounting hardware (crossbars, threaded nipples, and the original brass mounting nuts). They use standard base bulbs. Each fixture has minor blemishes in the porcelain finish but that is typical of Porcelier fixtures. Most of them left the factory in Pennsylvania that way. One 3-bulb fixture has a crack on the backside which we think is original to the fixture but it barely extends into the glazed portion and will not be obvious when installed. A couple of the porcelain nuts that secure the sockets have small chips. We have removed all of the paint from the glazed portions of the fixtures, but some remains on the bisque portion on the back. We have tested the fixtures and they work correctly. We guarantee them to be as described and will accept their return if the buyer is dissatisfied. Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them if you decide to return them.
