Epiphone Zenith 1954 Sunburst Archtop Acoustic Guitar - $799 - (Mccomb, MS)
This Epiphone Zenith archtop acoustic features a Spruce top with dual F holes on Walnut back and sides in sunburst finish. The Mahogany neck has a Rosewood fret board with 20 frets and Mother-of-Pearl inlays. The serial number on this guitar dates it to 1954, made in New York, NY. This guitar was owned by a Luther friend of mine. He found the guitar in an old lady's house in Liberty, Mississippi. She used the guitar for playing gospel music. The neck was reset and the truss rod was replaced. A screw hole in the fret board was filled in professionally. Tuners are not original and I think that the tailpiece is not original. Some frets were replaced and leveled. In good playing condition. The outside has obvious signs of wear. Cool looking Dave Rawlings guitar. Will be shipping in a hard shell case.
