Vintage (1997) Martin 000028H Acoustic Guitar w/Hardshell Case - $2,000 - (Huntsville, AL)

A vintage 1997 Martin 0000-28H acoustic guitar in excellent condition, complete with original hardshell case! This particular guitar was made in 1997 which was the first year of production on this model. The guitar is unique in that it's slightly bigger than a 000 body, and slightly smaller than a dreadnaught. So its got a really comfortable body size that's easy to get around, and a big sound that you'd typically get from a bigger guitar. The 28 means it has a solid sitka spruce top, and solid Indian rosewood back & sides. The guitar has now aged for 20 years, and has a deep woody tone, with a lot of clarity and volume. The H stands for the gorgeous herringbone binding. Other features include an ebony fingerboard, tortoise pickguard, and a bone nut and saddle. The neck feels amazing, with a nut width of 1 11/16. Checked by our in house technician, the 000028H has some light fretwear and playwear in the form of some light swirling. The action is wonderfully low, while the frets are in great shape.
