Vintage 1946 Martin 000-28. A fantastic playing, sounding and looking vintage Martin suitable for player and collector alike. Purchased from the original owner who used it professionally for most of her life. The neck has a chunky profile with just a hint of a V shape that is incredibly comfortable to hold. It is still nice and straight and the playability is excellent in every position with a tight, quick action. Sounds amazing with a rich, balanced tone. The low end is woody but still retains definition and the trebles are bold and full bodied. Sounds great for finger picking, maintaining the separate voices clearly and has a big, bright tone with a pick. Generally Excellent Vintage Condition. Guitar is playing and sounding fantastic. There has been a professsionally repaired top crack, the bridge has been shaved and reset for better playability and the saddle moved slightly to benefit the intonation. The tuning buttons have been replaced as the originals deteriorated over the years. Tuners themselves are original. All work was done professionally and neatly and can only be seen on close examination. Comes with the original hard shell case. Guitar is exactly as pictured. Buyer pays $65 shipping in the USA.
