Imperial Russian Samorodok .875 Silver Cigarette Case Faberge - $1,099 - (Bonne Terre, MO)

Imperial Russian Samorodok .875 fine silver Cigarette case which I believed to be Faberge dating back from the 1800s. The marks: L.R. Then a symbol that is obscure then 875 which would be the silver content (.875) fine silver. The case measures 3 5/8 inches by 2 inches. The closure is an emerald, and the monogram in 14K Yellow gold is: MW or WM. The case has no dents nor dings and I find to be in nearly mint condition except for the fact that is has some tarnish which could be removed if desired by the collector. The Samorodok Russian silver was a technique heating the silver to a certain temperature to acquire the texture that this case displays, which is something like a nugget. Faberge cigarette cases were made in this fashion.
