Leedy timbales from the Gretsch era - $1,400 - (Effort, PA)
A set of Leedy timbales made during the Gretsch era. They are like new excellent condition for their age. These drum are not like regular set these come with 6 lugs and 8 lugs similar to Ludwig drums. This is something for collectors a very rare find These drums come with all original Leedy Parts Lugs, claws and rims . Just to give you a little info the claws are made of steel and not brass as used on the Slingerland Leedy. These drum were made after Fred Gretsch brought Slingerland and the Leedy Names and very few of these drums were made less than 20 sets and very rare to find a set in this condition. Cowbell in photo not included nor L rod the mount is included with drum for free 1980 - (approx.) Fred Gretsch acquires all designs, patents and rights to both the Leedy and Slingerland names and produced these timbales in vary small quantity Buyer pays shipping , will be shipped in 2 boxes.
