Collector Blue Plate,  LAMBETH Plate, Taprell Loomis - $15 - (Dayton, OH)

Beautiful blue and white Decorative "Lambeth Plate" with bird and flower motif. This is a reproduction. The original was made in Lambeth near London in the 17th century and is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This plate may have been used as a dessert plate or a small serving dish and was inspired by Ming porcelain designs. Diameter is 10.75 inches. Only used for display in excellent condition. Stored in original box in smoke free, pet free home.
