Vintage Essex Omega Chain Stretch Belt Faux Jewel & Rhinestone Buckle Gold Metal - $147 - (Millington, MD)

Vintage Essex omega chain gold tone metal stretch belt with a faux jewel & rhinestone buckle.The large oval carnelian colored cabochon faux jewel in the center of the buckle measures 1-1/8” x 3/4”; at top and bottom are smaller oval jewels in forest green; on either side are small round sapphire blue jewels. The designer may have meant to mimic carnelian, emerald and lapis stones. The rhinestone studded background is made more intense by interspersed cut-steel like tiny spacers. The overall effect is stunning.Signed ESSEX on both buckle and belt. Measurements: Width of snake belt: 1” Length at rest: 32” (31” when fastened) Length maximum stretched: 35” (34” when fastened) Length of buckle: 4” Width of buckle: 1-¾” in center Weight before boxing: 11 oz. No scratches, no stones missing that I could see, no damage. Appears to be in mint condition.
