Built December 1997, Gretsch Broadkaster GB4160BB Black Brass snare drum, 5''x14'', prototype, #1 GB4160BB made for 1998 Broadkaster line up release. Serial # 53146, total original drum and heads, snare unit doesn't say Gretsch, will come with drum key and canvas key bag, under the lightning and fishtail are isolation gaskets, not seen on later versions. New old stock drum head has a few very light stick marks on batter head from original testing. I used the factory box to ship another valuable drum, the drum had spent most of the last 20 years in it's gretsch box. The finish is a black matte, looks great with the gunmetal hardware, no chipping on hoops,or lugs, the badge is free of flaking, gray and white tag inside, snap in key holder, muffler, 8 lugs, beautiful drum in near mint condition, collect or play, very heavy brass drum. One photo shows slight scuff of black finish on bearing edge and where head seats, otherwise the drum is in near mint condition.
