lot of J+J G Low Chelsea Mass victorian era art pottery tiles from fireplace - $238 - (Berlin, NH)
Description This sale is for this nice lot of 15 salvaged high glass green art pottery fire place tiles ,I believe are from the victorian era .The former owner told me they were salvaged from a opera house in Buffalo NY .They seem to a aesthetic movement or arts & crafts style themes with a nice sunflower tiles ,Unfortunately one large motif sun flower or large dial tile is missing (only one here ,There are a lot of good tiles left to include the 3 each of the 6" sunflowers with stalks and the center urn and there are also two Grecian drape tiles .The measurement across the set up is aprox 31 -1/2 " with a 19" center opening .Note:2 of the short trim tiles on top are small or broken (3 of them are the same aprox 6" long .A few tiles have chips and wear /discolored areas and old morter on the backs .The center urn has a thick layer of mortar still attached ,but are generally in good condition for ready to be repurposed There are nine 6" tiles are marked J+J G Low Patent art tile Chelsea Mass.The small trim tiles on top are not marked .Please view pics and Feel free to email questions I will answer the best I can Thanks for looking.
