Unique Octagonal Full Rim 10K White Gold-Filled Antique Eyeglasses Very unusual eyeglasses. Probably custom made by a jeweler, these eyeglasses date from circa 1900 with decorative Art Nouveau engraving with a bat-wing bridge. Full rim, octagonal-shaped lenses in 10K white gold with *metal* nose pads. Temples have a partial ear curve with spoon ends. NOTE: These eyeglasses have prescription lenses and you need to replace them with your own prescription lenses. Would also make one-of-a-kind sunglasses. Vintage eyeglasses are unique, well-built and one-of-a-kind. Since these are full rim eyeglasses, they also have a higher gold content than other styles of glasses.Does not come with case pictured because of the folded length of these glasses and will not fit in typical vintage case.Measurements: Bridge, 3/4 inches; overall width, 4-1/2 inches; width from hinge to hinge, 4-1/4 inches; temples with ear curve, 6 inches; lenses, 1-1/2 X 1-1/2 inchesEyeglasses are in very good vintage condition.
