This is the original, complete set of Lobby Cards of IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEA. They were released by Columbia in 1955 to promote the movie in Theatres and movie houses. They are not reprints nor reproductions. The movie stars Faith Domergue, Kenneth Tobey, Donald Curtis, Ian Keith, Dean Maddox Jr., Chuck Griffiths, Harry Lauter, and Richard W. Peterson. It was directed by Robert Gordon. The restored Lobby Cards each measure 11" x 14". These restored Lobby Cards are graded C8.5, Very Fine to Near Mint. Original Lobby Cards, like original movie posters, are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc. Prior to restoration, this Lobby Card set was graded a C7, Fine/Very Fine. Restoration corrected a few pinholes, some corner chips and bumps, light wear on the border edges, very minor paper loss, and minor (tape) stains. The Lobby Cards now have a pristine appearance. They display beautifully without issue in incredible detail and strong colors of yet another classic 50s sci-fi movie. We believe that the original and complete Lobby Card set of IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEA has excellent investment value.
