Vintage 1930's-1940's Dobbs Fifth Avenue New York Large Oval Hat Box - $85 - (Chadron, NE)

Box from Dobbs Fifth Avenue New York. The box shows light wear due to the age but is sturdy and in very good condition for the age. No dents, but bottom of box is separating from sides (seam split). There are some minor tears on the lid and faint water marks on box. No hat, but original blocking cardboard remains. Enough wear to smack of authenticity, but wear is in places where the artwork, shape, and essence of the box is not compromised. Measures 15" wide in diameter x 9" tall.
