VINTAGE ALUMINUM ARROW w/COBALT BLUE BLOCK LETTER BARNETT GLASS - Exceptional - $250 - (Cherokee Village, AR)
A vintage original aluminum "horseshoe" front Weather Vane Arrow (Weathervane) with transparent cobalt blue glass. Weather vane is 19 1/2 inches long, and there is a 3/4 inch hole opening for the ferrule. Arrow is straight, the block letter BARNETT SYSTEM design is crisp and clear, and the glass is not damaged. The glass is nicely fitted within the rectangular opening and the glass rests nicely on the four corner tabs. There is normal wear on both hole openings where the arrow rests on the ferrule, both holes are round. This looks impressive when set on a lightning rod with an cobalt or red lightning rod ball.
