Antique Mesh Chainmail Purse/Coin - $50 - (Cornwall, ON)

Stunning silver chainmail mesh purse. Could be a coin purse but is a little larger than that. Beautiful sapphire blue cabochons on the kiss clasp adorns the top of the worked edging. There are no silver marks or maker's mark on this purse. Measures approx. 6.5 from the top of clasp to the flapper bottom and 3.75" across the bottom. The chain is about 6.5" long. There are a couple darker spots but it's only tarnish on the mesh. This purse shows normal wear for the age.
