I sanitize each remote by wiping the remote control down with a Clorox wipe. After I received negative feedback for shipping a $4.75 remote control in a padded envelope (with no damage), which I have done since starting my eBay store in 2015, I want to inform everyone that I will be shipping your remote control in a padded envelope. I have shipped thousands of remote controls this way without an issue. My business model is to be the lowest priced remote control on eBay. In order to keep my costs to a minimum, I use paper padded envelopes, which are sturdier than the plastic ones, to ship my remote controls.
