Raw Wool - $85 - (Springville, IA)

This is a white Romney fleece from a yearling ram named Xerces. The fleece has high luster, a lot of crimp, and is super soft. Xerces has not been micron tested, but Romney fiber diameter ranges from 31-38 microns. The average staple length of this fleece is 6.5 inches and weighs 4.2 lbs. Xerces was coated year round. The fleece has also been heavily skirted with low amounts of VM matter remaining.
