This is a beautiful Staffordshire Historical Flow Blue Teapot, the subject being "Lafayette at Franklin's Tomb", by Wood, circa 1825. It is of a nice, crisp design and in good condition for the age. There is a large chip to the inside of the lid's filter rim, as shown in the photo. It is not visible from outside the lid. There are small chips on the interior rim, also not visible from outside. It has two very small glaze flakes, one on rim near handle and another under the spout. The teapot size is 7 1/2" high.We are happy to answer any questions.
