Antique Spinning Wheel & Whorl Treadle & Connector 14 Spoke Wheel - $200 - (Brawley, CA)
Antique spinning wheel in operable condition that shows that it has had a great deal of use. Carved in the front is the initials J.L. and the date 1840. I do not know the significance of the date. Appears at one time this spinning wheel was painted cream due to the paint residual in the joints. Has an overall attractive patina, has two chips in the spinning wheel (see photos), the drive wheel has some chips out of it (also see photos) and overall most of the joints are loose and need to be tightened and glued. Please email me with any additional questions or need for additional photos. Wheel measures 19", 32" total length, 20" width, 46" high. In order to ship, the wheel will need to be removed, so some reassembly will be required.
