Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Handled Cuticle Press / Cutter Vintage Manicure Tool - $18 - (Ottawa, ON)

Antique Cuticle Press (15cm/ 5 3/4inch) Personal Manicure tool with Sterling Silver Handle (925) I am not certain of age but my best guess is 1890-1915 (Art Nouveau). The handle measures 9.5cm / 4inches. It is hollow and marked "Sterling 15" with no other marks. Well balanced, shield shaped and decorated with repousse borders; there is an area suitable for monogramming that remains blank (your initials here...) The cuticle tool portion is likely made of steel, it is in good condition still with a sharp edge. It was likely once part of an Edwardian manicure set. Please see all photos for full condition.
