Custom made for the Badillo family in the Batangas, dating back generations. Made of Filipino narra wood and a mixture of other hardwood, the strongest heaviest of its time, to create shadings in its ornate sculptured front. Designed with a secret drawer in the front to place special treasures. Condition: Expected wear for antiquity, minor crack along left lower quadrant of chest. Original handles are inside chest.
