The Drake SW8 Worldband Shortwave / BCB / FM / Air Band Receiver is in very good condition with little signs of wear; please view all pictures. The unit has been tested on all bands and is working to spec. The whip antenna is straight and extends and retracts as it should. The battery compartment is clean, with no signs of corrosion. This unit also features AM Synchronous Detection. The serial number is 5E12950048 . The unit comes with the Original Box, Owners Manual, Soft Case, and 9 VDC, 1 AMP AC Adapter. The Drake SW8 Receiver Covers 100 to 30000 kHz in AM, USB and LSB/CW Modes, the FM broadcast (87 -108 MHz), and the VHF Air Band (118 - 137 MHz).
