Vintage Collins 75S-3B Receiver 32S-3 Transmitter and 516F-2 PS/Speaker Ensemble - $1,695 - (Hamilton, OH)

Vintage Collins Ensemble in good condition for its age. Needs restoration work (cleaning, scratchy controls, etc) but all tubes and controls seem to work. Both units have a full complement of crystals, except "28C" band. Based upon limited testing, receiver works ok; power supply for transmitter worked; transmitter powers up, but we were unable to get any output. The PA meter shows some PA Plate current, but no Grid current, and ALC pins at low end. We tried swapping PA tubes (two 6146A's) and driver tube (6CL6) but it made no difference. Probably something simple, but we didn't want to expend tech time on it. So here's your chance to get a deal! Happy Bidding!! Here are pictures of the serial number plates
