Replacing this will not stop the gear oil from leaking. You have other issues. DO NOT PURCHASE for this reason. If this assembly does not slide on easily. STOP . Do not force it on. Make sure your key and shaft coming out of the transmission are not damaged. This assembly has been cleaned, sanded , primed with 2 part epoxy primer and reassembled with new bearings and seal. It is ready for painting after wiping down with a wax and grease remover. The gear, shaft, and casting are the original Hobart parts. Removed from a working H600 spec number ML-17395 used in a school. Buyer must be sure of fitment before ordering by the ML number in Hobarts catalog. This must be installed by a qualified tech.
