I think this chain is used to retain the small booklet on some versions of the ART-13/13A transmitting equipment. This is a new-old stock item; the package consists of an approx. 13" chain with jacket and (likely) a small fastener or pin inside envelope. Box(es) may be distressed from storage conditions and passage of time, and may be different in appearance from the box(es) seen in the pictures. One chain was opened and displayed for photography purposes only. Note metal has aged over time, oxidized cadmium may have formed on the surfaces, USE CAUTION handling!
