PIEXX USB Serial IF-232 Level converter kit for Kenwood TS-950, TS-850, TS-450 and many other Kenwood transceivers. This is a high quality optically isolated TTL to USB serial level converter / adapter for the TS-950, TS-440, TS-850 and many other Kenwood transceivers. This isn't another one of those 3 resistor replacements that so many folks are offering, but a true optically isolated active level converter. This IF-232 replacement offers the maximum safety as well as signal conditioning. Included with the package is the Level converter, 6 pin Din cable to connect to your transceiver and a USBA to USBB interface cable. Our interface uses a Ham Radio Deluxe friendly chipset! This adapter is for those Kenwood radios that already have the serial interface installed. Some radio, like the TS-940, will need an internal board to complete the installation.
