CONN SAXOPHONE MODEL 1119954 - PAT, DEC, 8 1914 ONE GI OWNER This C Melody saxophone is in very good overall condition for its age.It was probably most actively used in the 1930's.Made by C.G.Conn Ltd.Elkhart, Ind. U.S.A.Patented Dec. 8, 1914Model 1119954C91120LMouthpiece says 'Trade Mark' EagleFront of horn has beautiful engravingSilver plated horn,Bell is gold washed, please see photographs. The horn has not been actively played in some time. Pads may need replacing. There are some wear marks and the entire horn needs a good cleaning and polishing.The case is by Conn and has 'GI' marked in white on the top. It is well worn, some of the compartments are loose and the lid latches need help. Still it is very usable, but may not be something you would want to use on the road right away.Horn plays the piano range notes.With a some polish and work, this horn will be a valuable asset to a saxophone player for years to come.PLEASE SEE PHOTOS.
