We also found an HP Bench Brief from 1990 that referenced: "MR 85629A-07A Modification that upgrades an HP 85629A to an HP 85629B". Surplus from a government lab. Untested and sold as-is, officially "for parts or not working" though it may work fine, may be faulty but repairable or may be shot - we just don't know!
