1964-1969 Detroit Red Wings game worn used jersey. Outstanding durene jersey worn in 1964-1965 by Gary Bergman and then 1965-1969 by Bryan "Bugsy" Watson. Used by the thrifty Detroit Red Wings in multiple season. Tagged size 46 with Olympic Sporting Goods tag sewn in the collar, this jersey has many team repairs throughout. 6 repairs on the left sleeve, 12 plus repairs on the right sleeve, 6 repairs to front of shirt, 12 plus repairs to back of shirt, and also board burns and stick marks. With repairs it appears that this jersey matches up to Gary Bergman's 1964-1965 Topps card and also matches up favorably to photo of Bugsy Watson in penalty box in 1966 Stanley Cup semi-finals against the Chicago Blackhawks. Looks like name "WATSON" was sewn on back and removed at one time, most likely for t.v. games. Outstanding Red Wings jersey from the mid 1960's!!
