FOR PARTS: Vintage New Bright "The Apache" Race Team Buggy Made In 1986---This a wonderful toy for display and is a great candidate for restoration. It is very pretty and shows no bad wear or hard use. I could not get it to run but believe the fix is somewhat easy for those with toy repair talents greater than mine. Like most old battery toys, the batteries were not removed and there was corrosion inside the battery housing which was not nearly as bad as I have encountered before. However while cleaning out the corrosion I discovered that one of the perpendicular battery contact clips was broken off completely. (The car runs on 6 AA batteries. two run perpendicular and 4 horizontal). It is 14 inches long and 8 inches wide. Study the pictures closely. Absolutely no return.
