Antique Chinese Embroidered Green Silk Caftan - $625 - (New York, NY)
We bought this in Bukhara and were told it is an antique Chinese fabric made into a caftan. There are some stains and discolorations when viewed carefully but you can’t notice them because they look as if they are part of the design. Otherwise in very good condition.Hello everyone...I lived in Europe as an expat for many years and amassed a a superb collection of antiques (silver, porcelain, books, art, antique textiles) which I bought from antique shops, private dealers etc. Now that I have moved back home to NY, I am editing ALL my holdings as I have no room for them, but am sad to see these go.
