ANTIQUE CHINESE SILK PURSE / SPLENDID This gorgeous silk purse has a magenta red silk background, with magnificently embroidered peacock, dragon and flower motifs on the front side.The back is of blue fabric, embroidered in black, depicting two fish and a flower. This is the finest of Chinese craftsmanship from the latter part of the 19th century. This type of purse was worn on a belt with loops.
