It's a fine intermediate wood oboe 100% made in France in Fossati's workshop near Paris. Serial number 1360. The photos show the oboe as we received it, in very good condition. Now scheduled it for a full repad in our shop, the oboe will be ready to ship in about in about a week and we'll post new photos. The full conservatory keywork is silver plated and includes left hand F, articulated C#, split-ring D key, and third octave key. The silver plating to the keys is in superb condition with no worn spots. There are no cracks or repairs to the grenadilla wood body. Fossati's oboes are known for their good design, sophisticated sound, and sturdy, reliable mechanism. We think this oboe is a worthy alternative to some popular plastic oboes that cost twice as much!
