Two Rare Vintage English Farm Steam Equipment Front & Rear Lanterns!! - $425 - (Mobile, AL)

Two very cool Vintage 1939 and 1941 English Farm Equipment front and rear Lanterns. One has clear front Lens and the other has a red lens. Both lanterns are the same except for the date on the badge and the red lens. The wick holder and fuel tank slide out the front. The wick has a porcelain guard marked “ Sherwood’s Limited Trade Mark Sound” on one side and the other side is marked “Lynlight No2 British make”. Two pretty nice vintage Lanterns made in England. The badge on each says “GR, with the King George VI Crown, the serial number before the date and following that S N L W Ltd. These two lamps are in great condition for the age. The 1939 lantern has a tiny crack in one of the side glass, very minor and glass is solid. Each lantern stands 9 3/4 inches to top of handle. 4 3/4 wide and 4 1/4 deep. these can be mounted through the bottom plate or rear plate. The rear plate appears to be the normal mount set up.
